Imagine This You’re dispatched from home to a shop with a VF-series mill throwing spindle alarms. You isolate the issue with a Fluke meter, reference Haas documentation, replace the failing component, validate geometry, document the job for the customer and office, and finish by training operators on PM best practices. Next stop: commissioning a 5-axis UMC and tuning a rotary table.

That’s your week—variety, autonomy, and customer trust.

Your Mission Install, commission, maintain, and repair Haas CNC machines and controls at customer facilities—travel required; vehicle and fuel provided.

Use online manuals, schematics, and vendor portals to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

Capture accurate service records, parts used, and status updates for both customers and the office.

Deliver after-sales technical support and on-the-spot operator training; champion preventive maintenance.

Deepen your knowledge across the Haas lineup—VMCs, HMCs, lathes, rotary products, and 5-axis systems.

Complete onboarding that includes CNC repair coursework and earn Haas factory certification within the first year.

Partner with the Service Manager; take on related tasks as operations evolve.

Responsibilities may shift; similar duties can be assigned as logical extensions of the role.

What It Takes Demonstrated skill in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering; CNC background is a plus.

Proven ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings (required).Comfort with laptops, smartphones, and common software;
Microsoft Office experience is helpful.

Outstanding technical communication and presentation abilities.

Physically able to lift 40–50 lbs; flexible hours with frequent regional travel and daily home dispatch.
