Guardian Fleet Services is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You’ll work on a variety of wreckers, trailers, fleet vehicles, and other types of equipment
, with both diesel and gas engines.

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines
• Perform computer diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
• Repair engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems
• Diagnose and repair air brake and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Document repairs and parts used
• Keep the shop and work area clean and organized
• Work with drivers and the shop team to keep equipment safe and on the road

• Previous diesel or heavy-duty mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
• Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various positions and environments
