Licensed Social Worker LMSW LCSW

Job Summary

Whitington Services for Children and Families is hiring licensed or license‑eligible social workers, mental health counselors or marriage and family therapists to provide home, community and office‑based services to families identified through child services, probation, Medicaid/Medicare clinics and supervised parenting time. Positions are full‑time or part‑time with flexible scheduling Monday through Sunday.

• Perform intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations for adults and children.
• Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans and document ongoing progress notes using evidence‑based methods.
• Maintain contact with child services, probation, families, caregivers and courts, and keep risk assessments and monitoring up to date.
• Provide services consistent with the agency service model and state or federal contract expectations, keeping them family‑centered and child focused.
• Begin services within 48 hours of assignment.
• Collaborate as part of a team, maintain on‑call status as required, and act as a relief provider for other positions.
• Facilitate group sessions and participate in program development when needed.
• Adhere to all facility, licensing and ethical standards of the National Association of Social Workers.

• Licensed or license‑eligible in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university; practicum and interns welcome.
• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family or a related human services field.
• Valid driver’s license and up‑to‑date insurance coverage.
• Ability to transport families in personal or company‑provided vehicles, including occasional long‑distance travel.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Direct LCSW supervision provided.
