Are you a passionate and motivated Software Developer seeking a fulfilling career in the defense industry? We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with embedded development experience to join our Space and RF Sensors team in Fort Wayne, IN.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.
• Analyze and translate system requirements into detailed software specifications and designs.
• Implement, test, and debug software solutions to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance software quality and development practices.
• Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python or other relevant languages.
• Understanding of Object‑Oriented Design (OOD) principles and practices.
• Experience with software testing and debugging tools.
• Experience using version control tools like Git.

• Experience with Linux and/or real‑time embedded systems such as vx Works or Integrity.
• Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  practices, including CI/CD pipelines such as Git Lab and secure software development methodologies.
• Experience with unit test frameworks such as gTest/gMock.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Protobufs.
• Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
• Active U.S. government security clearance (if required for the role).

Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
