What You Will DoDesign, develop, test, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.
Analyze and translate system requirements into detailed software specifications and designs.
Implement, test, and debug software solutions to meet project requirements and quality standards.
Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance software quality and development practices.
Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.
Qualifications You Must Have- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 2+ years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 0‑2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python or other computer languages.
- Understanding of Object‑Oriented Design (OOD) principles and practices.
- Experience with software testing and debugging tools.
- Experience using version control tools like Git.
- Active U.S. government security clearance required (U.S. citizenship required).
- Experience with Linux and/or real‑time embedded systems such as vx Works or Integrity.
- Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines such as Git Lab and secure software development methodologies.
- Experience with unit test frameworks such as gTest/gMock.
- Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance.
- Familiarity with gRPC and Protobufs.
- Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
