Role Overview
Software Engineer – Space & RF Sensors, Fort Wayne, IN. Onsite. U.S. citizenship required. Secret clearance required.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications.
- Analyze and translate system requirements into detailed software specifications and designs.
- Implement, test, and debug software solutions to meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures and continuous improvement efforts.
- Document software designs, test results and troubleshooting processes.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, Python or other languages.
- Experience with Object‑Oriented Design (OOD) principles and practices.
- U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with Linux and/or real‑time embedded systems such as vx Works or Integrity.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies.
- Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration and performance.
- Familiarity with gRPC, Protobufs, Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- Active U.S. government security clearance if required for the role.

Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
