Kotlin Developer to join our team.

Position: Full‑time (Remote)
Term: Long‑term Timezone: until 3PM Chicago Time Zone

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server‑side code using Kotlin, Typescript (
  for backend development and requires handling a complex central codebase);
• Support production applications including on‑call responsibilities;
• Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs;
• Help improve, expand and maintain our acquisition, applicant and customer APIs;
• Design and implement database schemas with a focus on data consistency, integrity, and optimization;
• Optimize and maintain database performance for high‑volume applications;
• Work with the engineering and product team to help bring the features on our ambitious roadmap to life for our customers.

• Experience as a backend developer with a focus on Kotlin;
• Experience with Type Script as a backend developer;
• Experience with React (at least 6 months) – will be a plus;
• Experience with database systems (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, etc.);
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration tools;
• Experience with Git Hub copilot or Gemini;
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation.
