Team Mission

The mission of the software team in Fort Wayne, IN is to provide world‑class software for our customers. We are looking to add software engineers to our development team for a wide array of products including Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, Effectors, Advanced Sensor Systems, and Surveillance and Warning systems.

What You Will Do
  • Participate in collaborative, cross‑discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
  • Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly leading a small software team.
  • Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant professional experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, Ada or similar software object‑oriented language.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required; only U.S. Citizens can obtain security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong problem‑solving, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proven self‑motivated problem solver who can look at a situation, identify gaps or issues, and take initiative to resolve them (technically, with process, and with documentation).
  • Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Experience developing software using Agile techniques such as Scrum, Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, Test‑Driven Development.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with time‑critical requirements.
  • Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration/Development & Integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Eclipse, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Red Hat, Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, or other RTOS.
  • Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
