Location:

Role:
Senior Software Engineer (Onsite).
Security clearance:
Secret (Active).
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen required.
- Implement AFATDS software capabilities for new or updated requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate bugs in existing AFATDS software.
- Develop future software capabilities involving AI toolsets and algorithms.
- Work with a technical mentor utilizing a defined project plan and milestones.
- Act as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating agile processes and effective communication.
- Coordinate technical tasks as a sub‑team leader, ensuring program alignment.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Engage in disciplined engineering challenges and tasks.
- Develop Fire Support Command and Control software in Ada and Java.
- Lead people in an agile development setting.
- Proficiency with build tools/IDEs such as CMake, make, Visual Studio, VS Code.
- Experience using development workflow tools: JIRA, Git, Subversion, Docker, requirements management applications.
- Object‑oriented programming experience with C++ or Java.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a STEM degree, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree in a related field.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
- Experience with AI/ML, data science, and software development.
