Driver - C Shift (M-TH 8PM - 6:30AM) – 118097

Under the direction of the shift supervisor and/or the shift team leader, the CDL Shuttle Driver will be responsible for operating a semi-tractor trailer vehicle for the loading and delivery of products to/from the plant to the warehouse in a manner consistent with all safety, quality, and operational work instructions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Safely operate the shuttle vehicle on each trip and follow all applicable laws and company policy.
- Maintain records involving trailer numbers and vehicle position.
- Collaborate daily with warehouse supervisors and comply with warehouse safety requirements.
- Communicate via cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations and warehouse personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, following signals from loading crew. Place safety wheel chocks to prevent trailer roll.
- When a pup trailer is involved, take extra care with trailer jack stand placement; notify the customer if no jack stand is installed.
- Properly use airline/electrical hookups and backing procedures.
- Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse and yard security.
- Work overtime as dictated by business needs (mandatory or voluntary).

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of tractor‑trailer experience within the past 4 years.
- Hazmat endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL‑A) for tractor‑trailer operation.
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate. Must be able to work outside and in the warehouse environment.
Skills, Knowledge And Abilities- Basic computer skills.
- English reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Basic math skills.
- Read and follow manufacturer’s instruction manuals.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Minimal supervision or guidance required.
- Adaptability to change in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation And BenefitsExpected base pay range: $28.50 – $30.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
