Part-Time Ramp Agent - QAS (Fort Wayne International Airport)
SHIFT: AM Tue - Fri 04:15am - 07:15am & SAT 05:00am - 08:00am
MUST pass a pre‑employment drug screen that includes THC
Position OverviewAs a Ramp Agent you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services, providing the highest level of customer service and keeping passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time. This role requires an early start on the AM shift (04:15am - 07:15am) from Tuesday through Friday, and a shift on Saturday (05:00am - 08:00am).

- Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process is required for this location
- Properly and safely load and unload freight, including building up and breaking down of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines.
- Hold equipment certifications and operate equipment safely.
- Obtain proper security documents for all shipments.
- Verify upon receipt from customer shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness.
- Verify upon delivery to customer shipment pieces and airway bill numbers.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
- Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives.
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
- Must be able to verbally direct in English.
- A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
- Warehouse – physically strenuous, prolonged periods of standing with exposure to noise, potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment.
- Outdoor – prolonged periods of standing with exposure to weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.
- Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.
- Be able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet in height.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
