Delivery Driver - Part Time

Job Overview

The Delivery Driver role for Omnicare Pharmacy at CVS Health involves delivering prescription orders and pharmacy products to customers on a predetermined route using a company‑provided vehicle. Drivers must maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and uphold patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies to long‑term care facilities or patients' homes.
• Load products/materials and manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks.
• Maintain vehicle, performing routine checks and reporting maintenance issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, including HIPAA, to protect patient confidentiality.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexible schedule; able to work nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state for the vehicle’s operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Customer service orientation.

• Previous experience as a delivery driver (limo, taxi, bus, courier, gig‑economy).

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
• Sit or stand 7–10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Visual acuity sufficient for reading fine print, close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.
• Heed normal voice sounds; may require extended hours as needed.
