This full-time, on-site CDL A Home Daily Driver role is based in Fort Wayne, IN. The driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport freight, following assigned routes and schedules while ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads in accordance with regulations, completing required logs and documentation, and communicating with dispatch about route changes or issues.

The role includes interacting professionally with customers during deliveries, adhering to all DOT and company safety policies, and maintaining a clean, well-kept vehicle. This position is designed to provide consistent local work that allows the driver to return home each day.

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe driving practices.
• Experience with local or regional trucking routes and familiarity with Fort Wayne and surrounding areas is preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections, handle basic troubleshooting, and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail for accurate paperwork and on-time deliveries.
• Professional communication skills and customer service mindset when interacting with dispatch, coworkers, and customers.
• Capability to lift, move, or secure freight as required, and to work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; 2 years prior experience as a CDL A driver is required.
