Overview
Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Regional and OTR Drivers out of Fort Wayne, IN. We are a transportation and supply chain solutions provider with a focus on safety and service.
What You’ll Do- Regional and OTR driving opportunities based in Fort Wayne, IN
- Deliver forklifts, tow motors and parts on a dry van trailer
- Operate in lanes generally east of the Mississippi, with trips as far west as Laredo, TX
We offer a driver-friendly environment with potential for weekly home time on regional runs and competitive earnings.
What We’re Looking For Equipment- Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, or Freightliner trucks
- Automatic transmission
- Governed speed: 68 mph
- ELD equipped (Samsara)
- Outward facing camera
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have at least 6 months of driving experience
- Hazmat & tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment
- No felony in the past 7 years
- No alcohol-related offense in the past 5 years
- Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
