Inventory Clerk

Description We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and enjoy physical, hands-on work. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining warehouse operations and ensuring inventory is efficiently managed to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and stock inventory within warehouse spaces to ensure efficient access and storage.

- Load and unload shipments, including handling heavy items such as chlorine jugs and sandbags.

- Track inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to prevent shortages.

- Assemble and set up product displays to support retail operations.

- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively to move and store materials.

- Assist with filling containers from large storage tanks, ensuring accuracy and safety.

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within warehouse areas.

- Collaborate with management to meet operational goals and deadlines.

- Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements - Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is preferred.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items, including containers weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking and stocking.

- Proficiency in safely operating warehouse equipment and tools.

- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.

- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and tasks as needed.

- Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to adhering to them.
