HGV Mechanic

* Responsibilities
* * Conduct thorough inspections of HGVs to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

* Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy trucks, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and transmission components.

* Diagnostics, repair and maintenance on the company's fleet of trucks (Volvo, Scania, MAN), trailers and small plant machinery

* Requirements
* * Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or in a similar heavy vehicle repair role.

* Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical faults.

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Experience working with HGVs / large vehicles

* Relevant mechanical qualification (Mechanical BTEC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level
3)

The role would also be suited to a qualified car mechanic who is looking to progress in their career. Full training and support will be provided.

Pay:
From £18.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
