Duties include:
* Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support monthly/quarterly/year-end close
* Reconcile general ledger, sub-ledgers, balance sheet, and bank accounts
* Assist with monthly financial statements and management reports
* Support job cost and project accounting, including WIP, revenue recognition, and retainage tracking
* Prepare and submit customer billings in accordance with contracts and GAAP
* Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with customer portal requirements
* Partner with project managers and operations to resolve cost, billing, and contract issues
* Support project setup, budgets, and job costing in Sage 300
* Assist with payroll backup, sales tax filings, audits, and lender/bonding requests
* Demonstrate strong accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through
* Degree in Accounting
* 3+ years of Staff Accountant experience
* Experience with Sage is a plus
