** Senior Manager – GL & Corporate Accounting

** Position Overview
** The Senior Manager of GL & Corporate Accounting leads the organization’s general ledger operations, monthly/quarterly close processes, and corporate level accounting activities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards. The Senior Manager partners with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Audit to support strategic financial decision-making. This role will report to Senir Director of Accounting.
** Key Responsibilities
**** General Ledger & Close Management
*** Oversee the full GL accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
* Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
* Monitor and improve close timelines, ensuring adherence to corporate deadlines.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidation entries and intercompany eliminations.
** Corporate Accounting & Reporting
*** Lead preparation of corporate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
* Own corporate level accounting areas such as fixed assets, leases, prepaid expenses, accruals, bank reconciliation and treasury related entries.
* Review variance analyses and work with FP&A on understanding key business drivers.
* Manage compliance with internal accounting policies and maintain documentation.
** Controls, Compliance & Audit
*** Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and resolving audit findings.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control effectiveness.
** Leadership & Team Management
*** Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 1-2 senior and staff accountants.
* Establish clear performance expectations and foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
* Support hiring, onboarding, training, and career development for the team.
** Systems & Process Optimization
*** Champion automation and efficiency initiatives in the close and reporting processes.
* Oversee ERP system enhancements related to GL and corporate accounting functions.
* Ensure data integrity and work closely with IT on system controls.
** Qualifications

* Education:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
* CPA preferred.

* Experience:

*** 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including GL and corporate accounting.
* Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS.
* Experience managing accounting teams.
* Experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment.
