Manager Accountant, Tax; DALLAS, TX

Overview

We have a tremendous opportunity for a Manager Accountant to play a key role on our Tax team. We are looking for candidates residing in and around Dallas, Texas. As a highly valued member of our firm, you will work closely with the Tax team to provide timely, accurate, and reliable completion of client engagements. We focus on work/life balance for all employees.

• Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns.
• Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
• Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions.
• Assist with the development, training, and mentoring of staff and interns.
• Recognize opportunities to provide new and innovative services.
• Show willingness to learn new tax skills across the diverse client base, including public company tax, banking and financial industry, international, cross‑border, expatriate compliance, and transaction advisory services.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Active CPA certification.
• Minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn firm technology.
• Ability to present and adapt to future technology needs.

Office hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday (discretionary). Additional hours may be required during peak times.
