Plant Controller

We're seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead financial operations at our Fort Worth manufacturing site. This role partners closely with plant leadership to provide financial insight, ensure accurate reporting, and drive cost control, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Leading plant-level financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Partnering with plant leadership to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
  • Developing and maintaining key financial and operational metrics.
  • Maintaining standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory valuation and monthly inventory reporting.
  • Overseeing cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory adjustments.
  • Leading annual plant budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Supporting capital investment planning and ROI analysis.
  • Driving cost‑reduction, process improvement, and asset utilization initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
  • Partnering with corporate accounting on month‑end close activities.
  • Maintaining ERP (JDE) data integrity and supporting system enhancements.
  • Supporting company‑wide forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning.
  • Assisting senior leadership with financial and strategic initiatives as needed.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP/JDE experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and business‑partnering skills.
