LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Accounting Director to lead its corporate accounting function. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands‑on accounting leader who thrives in high‑growth environments and has a proven track record overseeing multi‑entity accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, and ERP implementations. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing experience, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to build scalable processes that support continued business expansion.
Job Responsibilities- Lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities across multiple legal entities.
- Oversee multi‑entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and Group reporting.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies.
- Direct the external audit process, coordinate with auditors, and oversee audit readiness and compliance initiatives.
- Manage the general ledger, financial statement preparation, balance sheet integrity, and accounting operations.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Tax, and executive leadership to support strategic business initiatives and organizational growth.
- Prepare the accounting organization for manufacturing expansion, including inventory accounting, cost accounting, standard costing, and fixed asset capitalization.
- Lead ERP optimization and system enhancement initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high‑performing accounting team while driving continuous process improvement and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership responsibility.
- Required background in manufacturing accounting.
- Proven experience with multi‑entity consolidations, financial reporting, and audit management.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations in a multi‑entity environment.
- Demonstrated success scaling accounting processes within a high‑growth organization.
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
- Stable career progression with clear reasons for career moves strongly preferred.
