Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting Hybrid

A high-growth, publicly traded organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Financial Reporting team.

• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules
• Support corporate accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare consolidation and elimination entries and assist with complex accounting transactions
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on new and existing accounting matters
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and accounting policies
• Support business combinations, debt and equity transactions, stock-based compensation, lease accounting, and other technical accounting areas
• Prepare internal management reporting packages
• Assist with external audits and quarterly reviews
  
  Partner cross-functionally with accounting and finance teams on reporting and special projects
• Participate in acquisition-related reporting and integration initiatives
• Utilize reporting and financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA preferred
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience preparing SEC filings, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and technical accounting guidance
• Experience with account reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and month-end close
• Experience with financial reporting platforms such as Workiva preferred
