Financial Additions is assisting a reputable Oil and Gas company in Fort Worth with a Controller position. The ideal candidate brings a background in Oil & Gas accounting, excellent job tenure and wants to join an established and growing company.
This position is hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 remote.
What you will do- Provide leadership and oversight to ensure proper controls and reporting procedures.
- Direct the preparation of financial statements, shareholder reports and tax returns.
- Compare sales and profit projections and budget to actual.
- Prepares board financial packages
- Leads the accounting team
- Oversees budget and audit functions
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance Required
- 5-10 years experience in upstream oil and gas accounting including revenue, JIB, royalty interests, etc.
- Supervisory experience
- Stable job tenure
