Plant Accounting Manager
Fort Worth, TX - hybrid, 3 days onsite/week
Compensation: $135-140K + 10-15% Bonus
One of Vaco’s publicly‑traded manufacturing and industrial clients is looking to onboard a Manager of Accounting focused on operations.
Day-to-Day- Lead financial activities, including monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting from a plant operational perspective
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of plant financial statements in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
- Analyze production performance, COGS, labor, material usage, and overhead costs to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Own standard cost development, annual cost roll, BOM validation, and cost model accuracy.
- Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliations.
- Serve as the primary financial business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leadership.
- Provide financial guidance on capital projects, ROI analysis, productivity initiatives, and labor planning.
- Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost‑reduction efforts through data-driven insights.
