Compensation: $135-140K + 10-15% Bonus

One of Vaco's publicly‑traded manufacturing and industrial clients is looking to onboard a Manager of Accounting focused on operations.

• Lead financial activities, including monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting from a plant operational perspective
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of plant financial statements in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
• Analyze production performance, COGS, labor, material usage, and overhead costs to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Own standard cost development, annual cost roll, BOM validation, and cost model accuracy.
• Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary financial business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leadership.
• Provide financial guidance on capital projects, ROI analysis, productivity initiatives, and labor planning.
• Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost‑reduction efforts through data‑driven insights.
