A growing and highly entrepreneurial single-family office in Fort Worth is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its lean, high-impact finance team. This position offers unique exposure to investment accounting, family office operations, real estate, alternative investments, and strategic decision-making while working directly with executive leadership and family principals.

- Perform accounting and financial reporting activities across a complex organizational structure consisting of more than 100 entities
- Analyze general ledger activity and communicate financial trends and business drivers to leadership
- Assist with treasury management, investment reporting, and asset allocation analysis
- Track alternative investments through capital statements and investment manager reports
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and operating summaries
- Assist with quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Review expense requests and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
- Support annual tax preparation by collecting, organizing, and analyzing required documentation
- Participate in a major accounting system implementation and process improvement initiative
- Collaborate with service providers to maintain timely and accurate financial records
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support investment and business decisions
- Contribute to a strong controls environment focused on accuracy, accountability, and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting
- Experience in family office accounting, investment accounting, fund accounting, or real estate accounting is highly attractive
- CPA designation or CPA-track candidate preferred but not required
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment where flexibility and initiative are highly valued
- Ability to interact professionally with executives, ownership, and external stakeholders
- Willingness to wear multiple hats and assist outside traditional accounting responsibilities when needed
