SNI Financial has partnered with a highly respected investment/asset management firm in the Fort Worth (Tarrant County) area to hire a Senior Accountant
.
If you're currently with a Big 4 or regional public accounting firm and have been thinking about making the move to industry, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Leverage your audit and GAAP foundation while gaining hands-on experience in operational and investment accounting, partnering directly with business leaders, and seeing the business from the inside—all while leaving busy season behind.
What You Will Be Doing...- Own key components of the monthly close process
- Support financial reporting and GAAP compliance
- Gain exposure to operational accounting and investment accounting
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Operations
- Expand beyond audit into the day-to-day financial operations of the business
- Make the transition from public accounting into a well-rounded industry role
- Apply your audit and GAAP experience while expanding your operational accounting skills
- Gain exposure beyond financial reporting into real business operations
- Work closely with leadership and build business relationships

- 2+ busy seasons in public accounting (Big 4 or regional CPA firm strongly preferred)
- Audit or Assurance experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Looking to build a long-term career in industry
- Transition from public accounting into industry
