Our client, a Real Estate Owner/Operator, is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee their Real Estate Properties.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support preparation of financial statements and reports
- Help maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience (public or private)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Yardi and Quick Books are a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
