Revenue Accountant

A privately backed oil & gas company based in Fort Worth, TX, with operations in the Permian Basin are on the look out for a Revenue Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop their career within the energy sector. The company has a flat organizational structure, providing strong exposure across the business and the opportunity to work closely with Accounting, Land, Engineering, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare revenue calculations, schedules, reconciliations, and uploads for Oil, Gas, and NGL sales.
• Work with accounting and production accounting systems.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with financial and audit requirements.
• Provide accurate volumetric and valuation data for Severance Tax reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across the business.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Prior revenue accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates must have prior Oil & Gas experience.
