Tax Manager

Our client is known for close, long-lasting client relationships built over decades in the community. They work across a broad mix of financial services, including tax planning and problem-solving, small business accounting, payroll, part-time CFO support, forensic work, and specialized services for elder care, ministers, churches, and non-profits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Provide tax planning, problem-solving, and consulting services to a diverse client base
• Support small business accounting and payroll services for clients
• Assist with new business formation and related tax matters
• Work directly with clients to deliver a high level of personalized service
• Collaborate closely with a small, tenured team in a hands-on, in-office environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required
• 6+ years of relevant experience required
• Comfortable working full-time in office in southwest Fort Worth (no remote or hybrid flexibility)
• Strong technical foundation in individual and business tax preparation
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a small firm, high-touch environment

Compensation

• $130k to $165k, depending on experience.
