Billing Manager

Harmer is representing a construction-based company experiencing hyper growth and is expanding their billing department to add a Billing Manager.

Additional to standard AR functions this position is heavily focused on Time & Materials (T&M) billing, ensuring labor hours, equipment, materials, subcontractor costs, and other project expenses are accurately captured, supported, reconciled, and invoiced.

• Oversee daily invoice review, submission, accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Maintain key billing trackers and reporting tools to monitor pipeline activity and workload.
• Lead weekly review of timecards/payroll inputs and coordinate timely submission.
• Review incoming job documentation and maintain billing allocations/placeholders to ensure future workload visibility.
• Lead cross-training and task rotations for administrative staff; perform peer reviews for documentation accuracy.
• Partner with Project Management, Field Operations, Administration, and Accounting to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate invoicing.

• Bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of billing experience within a fast-paced environment
• 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
