Tax Associate

A couple years into public accounting and thinking about what's next? This is worth a look

We're working with an independent CPA firm in Fort Worth TX looking to add a Tax Associate with around 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience.

This is a good fit if you want to keep developing technically without signing up for the kind of hours that make public accounting hard to stick with long term.

Busy season is still busy, but the firm aims to keep hours around 50 to 55 per week re's also hybrid flexibility, giving you more control over your week and making the job easier to actually build a life around.

You’ll work across tax preparation, learning from more experienced people at the firm, and gradually taking on more as your experience builds.

• Ideally 1 to 3 years of tax experience at a CPA or public accounting firm
• You don't need to be the finished product. What matters is a solid foundation, a genuine interest in tax work, and a willingness to keep building your skills
• CPA or EA, or progress toward either, is a plus but not essential
• Experience with CCH Axcess, Lacerte or Ultra Tax is useful, though other software backgrounds are absolutely worth considering
