Part-time | Temporary / Interim | Fort Worth

I’m working with a privately owned business in Fort Worth that is looking to bring in a hands-on Accountant / Controller on a part-time, temporary basis
.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable operating across multiple entities, bank accounts and investment activities
, and who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing accounting across multiple entities and bank accounts
• Working in Quick Books Online
• Reviewing and understanding commercial real estate leases
• Supporting accounting for real estate investments and related activities
• Handling reconciliations, financial reporting and general ledger activity
• Working closely with ownership across both the core business and real estate investments
• Helping bring structure, accuracy and visibility across the accounting function

What they’re looking for:

• Strong accounting experience with the ability to work independently
• Quick Books Online experience is required
• Experience working with multiple entities and bank accounts
• Understanding of real estate, investments and/or investment accounting
• Comfortable reading and interpreting leases
• Controller or senior-level accounting experience is a plus
• Someone who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding

Compensation: Dependent on experience and background

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Schedule: Part-time / temporary
