This is not calendar babysitting. The calendar is manageable. The leverage is in email, to-do management, anticipation, and follow-through.

- Thinks two steps ahead without narrating your thoughts out loud.
- Prefers bullets over monologues.
- Enjoys quiet competence more than visibility.
- Can manage a few big rocks and several active threads without losing focus.
- Sees “support” as a strategic function, not a clerical one.
- Is comfortable being trusted with real responsibility—including access.
- Can detect and present issues with possible solutions.
- Email management and prioritization
- The founder’s to-do list and follow-through.
- Project tracking across 2–3 core initiatives and 5–10 active threads.
- Daily touchpoints with concise updates (bullets or brief verbal check-ins).
- Personal and business travel arrangements, and select personal logistics
- Light accounting and proforma/KPI management
- Light digital design: infographics, on-brand presentations, clean pitch decks.
- Maintaining and improving existing systems.
This is mostly internal support. Gatekeeping is mostly handled elsewhere.
Tools & Skills- Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
- Spreadsheet fluency
- AI proficiency for research, writing, model building, and problem-solving.
- Eye for detail and basic design
- Bonus if you have experience with:
- Mortgage or lending workflows
- Oil & gas land work (transactional, detail-heavy environments)
You don’t need to be taught how deals move.
Trust & AuthorityThis role ramps fast.
As competence is demonstrated, decision authority will expand quickly. The goal is progression toward a Chief of Staff–style role, not permanent EA containment.
Long-term, you’ll be trusted with access… financial, digital, and operational—integrity matters. Discretion is assumed.
