Position: Library Circulation Student Assistant - Monday through Thursday noon to 5pm
Job Title Library Circulation Student Assistant - Monday through Thursday noon to 5pm Position Summary

This position is required to work:

Monday through Thursday noon to 5pm

* Provide clerical and receptionist support for the West library.

* Provide outstanding customer service.

* Process incoming and outgoing materials.

* Provide basic computer and copier assistance.

* Shelving of books and materials.

* Inventory books and materials to maintain good order of the stacks.

* Cleaning throughout the library.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Must be detail-oriented and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

* Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Must be proactive and able to engage with a diverse constituency.

* Demonstrate decision-making and problem-solving skills.

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education, Certifications and/or Licenses

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

* Some college preferred

Experience

* Computer experience

* Experience in a higher education setting preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, including filing
