Opportunity Accelerator Intake and Assessment Specialist - Campus

Location: 4005 Campus Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76119, USA

Salary: $18 per hour

Work Hours: Full Time (40 hrs per week) Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assess participants’ eligibility for enrollment and complete the intake process.
  • Ensure all eligibility requirements are met before entry into the Program; enroll a minimum of 25 clients per month with required documents entered into Case Worthy.
  • Provide rapid referral to wrap‑around support services as needed.
  • Maintain updated electronic records and document all client activities within 24 hours of the event occurring.
  • Maintain confidentiality of case notes and client information.
  • Work effectively with employers, staff, clients, referral agencies, and community entities on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Complete background screens for all participants and follow all guidelines in the Goodwill Works virtual services step‑by‑step process document.
  • Complete at least 30 professional development and/or continuing education training hours annually.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports as assigned within the stated timeframe.
  • Arrange meetings between participants and Trainers/Employment Specialists/Case Managers.
  • Provide world‑class customer service; answer emails and phone calls within 24 business hours.
  • Assist Employment Specialists/Case Managers in identifying new recruitment sites and providing contact information.
  • Assist Business Developers with collecting, organizing, and analyzing occupation and economic information for job placement.
  • Research community options to stay up‑to‑date on resources.
  • Attend staff meetings, case management meetings, training sessions, etc. as required by the Agency.
  • Safeguard company‑issued property and perform other duties to support the department, team, program, and mission.
  • Drive an agency van to transport clients to job fairs, recruitment events, or other program activities when needed.
Qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledgeable in Internet and email functions.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong experience in in‑office procedures and use of normal office machines.
  • High school diploma or GED highly desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to work at a fast pace to achieve outcomes. Approximately 50% of the time is spent in an office environment; the remainder involves working with clients and attending outside community functions/meetings related to job responsibilities. The incumbent must be able to access file cabinets and office equipment, provide personal transportation to off‑site facilities, and use the agency van for client trips.

Communication capabilities via cell phone and/or smartphone are required.

Legal Requirements
  • Documentation to satisfy I‑9 requirements.
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
  • Criminal background check and drug screen.
