** Associate, Professional Education and Development, you will operationally
** support our
** Global and U.S. Vision Care Professional Education and Development team
** at our Fort Worth, TX location with some travel required.
** In this role, a typical day will include:
*** Works collaboratively to operationally support department leaders to create impactful events, materials and reports supporting team initiatives
* Help develop, attend and assist with department symposia, conference sponsor ships, academic programs, health care professional (HCP) advisory boards, and other department programs
* Develop executive-level presentations, documents, and reports
* Manage logistics for symposia, advisory boards and department programs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, participant communication, and resource allocation
* Build and foster strong relationships with the team, internal stakeholders, and senior leaders by facilitating communication, managing priorities, problem-solving and ensuring timely follow-ups
* Build and foster strong relationships with organization leaders, key opinion leaders, academics and HCPs
* Managing team KPI’s, budget, contracts, purchase orders and invoices for two departments
* Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports and coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements for two department heads
* Coordinate and manage cross-functional team meetings and events for two department heads, including agenda development, logistics, scheduling, and execution
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
*** Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs. Assoc.+4 yrs.)
* The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
