Administrative Assistant
Provides administrative support to various functional departments within the Southland Industries Branch.
- Provides administrative support to various functional departments including Accounting, Estimating, Project Management and Executive
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Document management – filing, printing and archiving
- Part time reception duties including mail distribution, routing calls and attending to guests
- Facility maintenance including conference and training rooms
- Maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and organize all required onboarding paperwork and employee documentation
- Create and issue employee badges
- Document and enter New Hire Orientation and training time for all New Hires (Btime)
- Execute Payroll corrections as needed
- Assist with onboarding logistics and day coordination
- Maintain and update the Master Manpower tracking List
- Track weekly onboarding activity, manpower changes, workforce status updates
- Communicate new hire rosters to internal departments
- General administrative support as needed
- Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Working knowledge of Word Processing software, Internet software, and Spreadsheet software
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
