Under moderate supervision, coordinate the collection and reporting of TCA+A’s charter schools, Texas School of the Arts, and Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts district Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data.
Job ScopeThis position has no direct supervisory authority.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
- Oversee the management of digital and paper-based records, including design and development of filing systems.
- Ensure effective and appropriate management of the organization’s records from creation, retention, and eventual disposal.
- Create and maintain positive communication with administration, staff, faculty, students, and parents.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Promote TCA+A, TeSA, and FWAFA in a positive manner within the schools and community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Tools/Equipment Used:
Computer and peripherals;
Google Applications.
Posture:
Prolonged sitting, some standing, infrequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion:
Regular walking.
Lifting:
Minimal light lifting and carrying (less than 25 pounds).
Environment:
Work is located on campus site; regular exposure to noise.
Mental Demands:
Maintain emotional control under stress.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- PEIMS experience preferred.
- Experience in a school district administrative support position requiring collecting and entering data; experience using coding systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records.
- Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing.
- Proficient in keyboarding.
- 10-key numerical data entry and file maintenance skills.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to meet established deadlines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand detailed written or oral instructions.
Position Type & SalaryFull‑Time. Salary: $175 to $275 per day.
Job Requirements- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
