Lead Elementary Campus Assistant/Receptionist
Provide the lead reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the front office.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
High school diploma or GED
Proficient keyboarding skills
Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow written instructions
Ability to operate a phone system
One year of experience in an office setting
Understanding of school policies and operations
Follow and adhere to legal and local policies
Absence Management
- Guest Educator process
Phone calls
- Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages
Digital communication - manage campus email, ride changes, and route to appropriate staff
Greeter
- Answer doorbell, greet and direct visitors to appropriate location
Enrollment
- Assist with enrollment and withdrawal processes
Visitors
- Maintain visitor log, issue visitor passes, and check out visitors utilizing Raptor System
Tardies & Check Out for Students
- Sign in tardy students utilizing Raptor System
Payment
- Manage incoming payments through In Touch
Volunteers
- Monitor completion of volunteer background checks
Textbook Manager
- Manage student and teacher resources (Major responsibility for campuses that do not have a 2nd elementary campus assistant and shared responsibility for campuses that have a 2nd office assistant)
Student Records
- Maintain digital student folders and fulfill student records requests
Emergency Information
- Create and maintain emergency information
Maintenance Requests
- School Dude
Operational Equipment - make service calls, refill toner, refill paper, print, laminate, etc.
Mail
- Prepare mailings and labels, assist with mail outs, sort & distribute mail, messages, and other documents
Materials
- Assist with the receipt and distribution of ordered materials
Arrival & Dismissal Duties
- As assigned
Cover duties
- As assigned, including nurse clinic
Other duties as assigned
Computer, printer, copier, variety of software, laminator
Maintain emotional control under stress, work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions and prolonged use of computer. Position requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, pulling, overhead reaching, sitting, and keyboarding. Position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds to waist high.
