Position Summary

The Receptionist position is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and directing visitors. The role supports the LNA Fort Worth Office with administrative tasks that enable smooth business operations. This is an in‑person, part‑time role (approximately 25+ hours per week) that alternates coverage with another part‑time Receptionist.

Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Professional Telephone / Interpersonal Communication: Answer phones professionally, direct inquiries to the appropriate destination, or take messages.
  • Visitor Greeting: Greet visitors professionally and notify the appropriate employee of the guest’s arrival in the reception area.
  • Attendance & Availability: Contact Supervisor promptly when unable to be present at the scheduled shift.
  • Organizational / Facility Responsibilities: Open and close the reception area each morning and evening; keep the 3rd floor copy and mail rooms organized; ensure office equipment operates and report issues; support Community Involvement Committee communications and events; facilitate ordering of copy room supplies, office meeting or event refreshments.
  • Maintenance of Various Listings: Maintain Guest Logbook and manage badge distribution; keep updated phone listings for the entire company and copies at the reception desk; maintain and distribute the Receptionist Desk Handbook; coordinate and distribute the monthly Reception Relief Schedules to all administrative staff.
  • Mail / Shipping Responsibilities: Accept deliveries and notify recipients; prepare outgoing express mail shipments; sort and distribute incoming mail and shipments in the morning; post all outgoing mail and shipments in the afternoon; distribute mail to individual mailboxes on floors2 and

  • Administrative Support Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining the facilities budget and processing related invoices; help the Office Manager organize and execute company events; perform additional tasks and assignments as requested; proactively coordinate desk coverage scheduling with the Executive Assistant and team.

  • Must be physically able to perform assigned duties in an office environment; may need to go out to manufacturing or mining environments.
