Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Negotiating Department Coordinator for a well-established professional association. This is a full-time, onsite position based at the organization's headquarters in Euless, Texas .
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Negotiating Department Coordinator provides high-level administrative, organizational, and research support to the Negotiating Department and its leadership. This role plays an important part in supporting negotiations, contract administration, meetings, documentation, research, and coordination with internal departments and legal partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced professional environment.

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Negotiating Department, including document preparation, correspondence, scheduling, office coordination, resource management, meeting logistics, and departmental projects.
- Support negotiations and contract administration efforts by organizing and maintaining historical documents, activity trackers, knowledge management resources, and other departmental materials.
- Serve as a primary notetaker for committee reviews, meetings, negotiations, and other internal or external meetings as needed; prepare accurate meeting notes and summaries.
- Conduct research related to labor and employment law, negotiations, regulatory decisions, statutory compliance, organizational history, and other relevant topics; prepare research summaries and investigative findings.
- Assist in-house attorneys and outside counsel with grievances, arbitrations, litigation matters, discovery, document management, and related projects.
- Respond to inquiries, support questions when appropriate, and perform additional administrative and logistical duties as assigned by department leadership.
- Strong administrative support experience in a professional, legal, labor, employment, association, or similarly detail-oriented environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, schedules, documents, and confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional correspondence, detailed meeting notes, summaries, and research materials.
- Proficiency with standard office and administrative technology and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Paralegal experience or a paralegal certificate is a plus; experience with unions, labor and employment law, negotiations, or a regulated industry is also highly valued.
- The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$70,000+ , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire, non-exempt position with a Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.
-5:00 p.m. schedule. - The position is fully onsite at the organization's Fort Worth, Texas headquarters and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
