Overview
Herzog Energy, Inc. is currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator in Fort Worth, TX to join our team and support the growing Procurement and Supply Chain function within Herzog Energy.
The Procurement Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative, data management, vendor coordination, and purchasing activities necessary to support Herzog Energy's construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities* This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
- Procurement & Administrative Support:
Support the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager with daily purchasing and procurement activities across active and upcoming renewable energy projects, including general administrative duties, special projects, and process improvement initiatives as assigned. - Records Management:
Enter, maintain, and update procurement information within company systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools. - Vendor Records:
Maintain current vendor contact information, capabilities, certifications, catalogs, and other supplier information. - Contract Administration Support:
Track contract and subcontract status, signatures, revisions, required documentation, and other administrative requirements. - Invoice Support:
Assist with matching invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation and identify discrepancies for review. - Reporting:
Prepare routine procurement reports and provide accurate information regarding open purchase orders, pending approvals, upcoming deliveries, vendor documentation, and other procurement activities. - Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions, and legal matters that affect purchasing and procurement activities.
- Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety policies and procedures.
- Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog's Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Time-management skills are essential; must possess a natural sense of urgency and work well with pressure and deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptive to change.
- Possess a high level of ingenuity.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of employees and prospects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and advanced computer literacy skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
- Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen.
- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
