Job Summary:This role provides professional customer service and administrative support to the Human Resources (HR) department. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality clerical, receptionist, and project-based support, ensuring efficient daily operations and effective service to internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Performance Requirements*
- Enters, updates, and maintains employee records in HR systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data entry as wellas alignment with established procedures
- Assists with compiling, formatting, and preparing standard and routine reports to support internal operations and externalreporting requirements, following established procedures and guidance
- Responds to routine HR inquiries, providing guidance within established policies and referring complex matters as needed
- Prepares and formats correspondence, forms, and other departmental documents with attention to detail and consistency
- Identifies basic issues and utilizes available resources and procedures to support timely resolution
- Provides cross-functional support to other HR areas, as assigned
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leader

RequiredMinimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Three (3) years of working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- At least one (1) year’s working experience in a Higher Education
- At least one (1) year’s working experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of general office and administrative support practices,including records management, data entry, document preparation, and routine reporting procedures in a professional office environment
- Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening,verbal, and written communication skills
- Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems,including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of ateam in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff,and external stakeholders
