This position is responsible for using soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and STB units. A solid understanding of RF transmission, amplification, and receiving electronic circuitry is required.
Responsibilities- Perform thru-hole and surface-mount soldering.
- Conduct component-level soldering repairs, specifically for RF (radio frequency) systems.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBs (printed circuit boards) at the component level.
- Work with radio antennas and amplifier transmitters.
- Handle heavy electronic equipment, up to 50 lbs, by sliding it on a conveyor belt.
- Share a workbench with 1st and 2nd shift technicians.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in thru-hole and surface-mount soldering.
- RF acumen is required.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills, including navigating applications like MS Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, as training and team interactions will be conducted in English.
- Safety-toe shoes are mandatory due to the work environment.
This position is for the 2nd shift.
