Tire Technician

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is hiring a Tire Technician to keep professional drivers safely on the road. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, repair, and replace commercial and passenger tires, perform rotations and balancing, and operate tire shop equipment in a fast-paced travel stop environment. You'll follow strict safety and quality standards, maintain a clean work area, and deliver friendly, respectful service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and replace commercial and passenger tires on trucks and vehicles
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and flat repairs according to safety standards
• Operate tire changers, balancers, torque tools, and related shop equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all company and DOT safety procedures
• Accurately document services, parts used, and inspections in company systems
• Assist customers and drivers with tire-related questions and recommendations
• Support inventory control by organizing, stocking, and tracking tire and shop supplies
• Collaborate with team members to meet service time expectations in a fast-paced environment
