Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

• Experience with at least one of the following:
procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, managing supplier/customer relationships, negotiations, data analysis

• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

• Familiar with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay

• Exposure placing large dollar (>$2 million) that are TINA compliant (Truth in Negotiations Act)

• Program and (EVMS) Earned Value Management Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel

Who You Are

As a member of the Lockheed Martin, International F-35 Co-Production Subcontract Management Team you'll play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our suppliers. Every day will be unique as you tackle shortages and resolve supplier performance issues. In this role, you will make a difference to our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will be responsible to for contract execution of complex procurements of different contract types and will have continued interaction with Lockheed Martin program management and Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain leadership. You’ll need to operate autonomously and have the business acumen for interaction with the strategic supplier leadership chains.
In addition, You’ll be looked upon to help guide and mentor other members of the team with their continued learning and training.

What You Will Be Doing

You will:

• Procure goods and services through the administration of purchase orders and subcontracts

• Develop and execute acquisition strategy

• Manage supplier relationships and deliverables

• Integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives

• Compile and analyze data

• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

• Conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management

Further Information About This Opportunity

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX à Discover Fort Worth.

Travel to supplier sites as needed and occasional International travel could be required, up to approximately 10%
