  • Responsible for designing and developing training programs using Instructional Systems Design principles in support of the Inflight training program.
  • This role is a part of our Inflight team within the Customer Experience group.
What you'll do

  • Researches, creates, and implements training programs for American Airlines flight attendant training
  • Utilizes the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) Model when designing and developing curriculum materials
  • Delivers training products within established project deadlines
  • Meets with various internal departments to ensure training is inclusive of corporate initiatives, customer insights, and vision of American Airlines
  • Incorporates full range of media into training programs, including video simulations, electronic manuals and guides
  • Continuously monitors training content for quality assurance by observing classes and seeking input from instructors, class managers and students
  • Coordinates with Policies & Procedures, Safety Management, and Training Operations to ensure programs are aligned with relative policy changes

Minimum Qualifications
- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years of relevant experience



Preferred Qualifications
- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Airline operational experience to comprehend cabin crew and Inflight terminology and procedures
  • Background in adult learning, training development, technical writing and graphics editing

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of training development software such as MS Powerpoint
  • Self‑motivated and capable of performing tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision
  • Ability to produce a quality, error‑free product while meeting aggressive project timelines
  • Aptitude for task analysis, reasoning, fact‑finding, and problem solving
  • Ability to concurrently handle multiple responsibilities and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in team processes
