Job Vision

As Vice President of Product, you own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across FM's portfolio of brands:
Musicbed, Film supply, and Stills. You ensure our products align with company strategy while delivering thoughtful, intuitive experiences for artists and customers.

You translate business goals into clear product direction, lead Product, Design, and Client Experience with confidence, and partner with the VP of Engineering to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions. You bring strong product judgment, deep design fluency, and a customer‑first mindset, balancing craft, speed, and measurable outcomes.

This role reports directly to the CEO. The Vice President of Product is strategic and hands‑on, setting direction, developing leaders, and ensuring consistent execution across a growing product suite.

The Products

FM's product ecosystem includes three content licensing platforms:

  • Musicbed: premium music licensing for filmmakers and artists
  • Film supply: curated footage licensing for premium productions
  • Stills: high‑quality photo licensing for commercial and editorial use

Each platform serves a distinct audience while sharing underlying systems, workflows, and platforms. The Vice President of Product ensures cohesion, clarity, and scalability across all three.

Additionally, the Vice President of Product will work closely with FM's other brands, Label and Trust, ensuring they represent FM at the highest level across the entire creative landscape.

The Team

The Product team includes:

  • Product Management
  • Product Design
  • Client Experience

You lead and develop Product, Design, and Client Experience leaders while working closely with the FM Executive team.

Core

Duties & Responsibilities Product Strategy and Vision

Define and own the product vision and long‑term strategy across all FM platforms.

Translate company goals into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.

Guide products from concept through execution, launch, and iteration.

Ensure product decisions are grounded in customer insight, data, and business impact.

Define primary customer segments to guide prioritization.

Growth, Metrics, and Accountability

Own product‑driven growth across FM platforms, including acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue impact.

Define, track, and communicate clear product KPIs that align with company priorities.

Establish feedback loops and dashboards that inform prioritization and measure the impact of product decisions.

Use data, customer insight, and judgment to guide experimentation, learning, and iteration.

Product, Design, And Client Experience Leadership

Lead and develop a high‑performing Product, Design, and Client Experience team.

Build and scale the product organization through hiring, coaching, and org design.

Ensure Client Experience feedback directly informs product strategy and prioritization.

Set and uphold standards for UX, service quality, and overall product experience.

Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and continuous improvement.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with the VP of Engineering on roadmap planning, sequencing, and execution.

Partner with Marketing and Sales on go‑to‑market strategy, launches, and pricing.

Align product priorities with Content and Finance leadership.

Serve as a key voice in leadership discussions around growth, platform investment, and customer impact.

Platforms, Systems, and Oversight

Provide product‑level oversight for critical systems, including payments, subscriptions, and artist payouts.

Partner with Engineering on long‑term platform evolution and major technology investments.

Ensure reliable, compliant customer and artist experiences.

Advocate for best practices in data integrity, privacy, and platform resilience.
