Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Reports To: Vice President of Operations
Location: DFW (on-site)
Travel: 25–35% National Travel

Position Overview

The Franchise Business Coach (FBC) acts as a strategic partner to franchise owners within the 1-800 Packouts system. This role combines hands‑on operational support with structured coaching to drive measurable year‑over‑year growth in revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA. The FBC works directly with franchise owners to strengthen operations, improve financial clarity, and build leadership accountability. This performance‑driven role is responsible for significantly improving franchise profitability and system‑wide standards.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Partner with franchise owners to develop annual growth plans, budgets, and forecasting strategies.
  • Lead structured weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews focused on revenue and EBITDA growth.
  • Conduct routine P&L reviews and financial diagnostics to identify margin improvement opportunities.
  • Coach franchisees on job costing accuracy, labor efficiency, pricing discipline, and overhead management.
  • Support operational excellence through workflow optimization, facility audits, and compliance reinforcement.
  • Align sales growth strategies with operational capacity and margin targets.
  • Drive accountability by documenting action plans and ensuring follow‑through on performance initiatives.
  • Conduct field visits to validate execution, identify operational risks, and strengthen leadership effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of restoration or disaster services industry experience.
  • Proven success improving financial and operational performance in a multi‑crew or multi‑department restoration operation.
  • Strong command of job costing, labor efficiency, margin management, cash flow, AR discipline, and budgeting/forecasting.
  • Experience leading operational teams (production, estimating, sales, or general management).
  • Familiarity with Xactimate and insurance carrier documentation standards preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and hold independent business owners accountable.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel 25–35% nationally.
